About your new role
We are looking for a Group Manager IAA Planning & operations professional with experience managing and coordinating planning, management and Board reporting and quality assurance requirements for IAA’s Internal Audit and Regulatory Assurance teams. The role will be intimate with The Star’s risk profile and its regulatory environment and will lead the planning and drive the outcomes of a functional uplift program.
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning requirements for the IAA function and its two teams, Internal Audit (IA) and Regulatory Function (RAF).
- Risk manage the IA and RAF plans, escalating and helping resolve any operational issues.
- Manage IAA reporting for all stakeholders.
- Functional Scorecards.
- Quality Assurance assessments for all individual IA audits and RAF reviews.
- Co-ordinate and track the initiatives under the IAA uplift program.
- Co-source resource management.
- Status, outcome and functional performance reporting for IAA, IA and RAF for internal and external stakeholders.
- Board Audit Committee and Risk, Compliance & Reg Performance Committee reporting.
- Lead the annual planning process together along with GM IAA, Group Manager IA and Group Manager RAF.
- Develop and maintain IAA, IA and RAF scorecards.
- Follow-up the status of management action plans and escalate any associated risks.
- Manage the process for identifying changes to the IA plan and the RAF plan including obtaining approval of the Chair of the Audit Committee.
- Identify where co-source resources are required in the IA and RAF plans and co-ordinate with KPMG the availability of those resources.
- Co-ordinate, sequence and track the IAA Uplift program. Where required, prepare the business cases for people and system resources.
- Identify and source technical audit and assurance training.

- To be successful in this role you will have Strong experience in a facilities management role, this role would suit someone from a senior manager of facilities, operations manager of facilities or senior facilities manager background.
