Industry experience is not necessarily a requirement for this role. You will stand out because of your success in a previous hands on management role leading teams in a multisite environment. Exceptional growth potential is on offer.

An overall offer of base salary + superannuation + travel costs + relocation support is available for the successful candidate if not already located in Gladstone.

Our client is a rapidly expanding, privately owned, multiple practice dental business who pride themselves on providing high quality general, cosmetic, restorative and orthodontic dentistry to its customers across rural and regional Queensland.

The mission of the business is to continuously increase quality in dental treatment and services available to rural and regional communities across Queensland. Currently they have practices located in Biloela, Chinchilla and Gladstone, and with future acquisitions at play in the short term.

With overall team numbers around 18, we are looking for a Group Practice Manager that has exceptional leadership skills, ideally applied within a multi location setting. Initially you will be managing the practice at Gladstone and overseeing Biloela and Chinchilla with development of another practice in the coming months.

The team in each practice is focused on building long term relationships with their patients and providing quality results for life through dedicated care, innovative treatments and education, all within a calm and welcoming environment.

You will be working in a business with a family-based culture, customer centricity and high quality care whilst supporting the team to grow, learn and have fun while doing it.

Managing the day to day operations across multiple practices

About you:
To be successful in this role you will need to be an experienced leader, comfortable in a very hands on role and able to engage and lead a team across multiple locations including face to face time and online. You are confident and self aware and your ability to work autonomously and also reach out for help when you need it will position you well for this role.

Whilst you may have prior health care experience, this isn’t essential. What’s most important is your proven leadership experience and ability to engage, coach and support the team to deliver and manage the day to day operations of a multi practice business.

You love to be across all the moving parts of a business making sure it’s really humming including monitoring sales, operations, marketing, financials and customer service. Your previous roles have likely given you direct experience in a number of these areas. You are a natural problem solver with exceptional communication skills and your calm and consistent leadership style has helped you to build trust and confidence quickly with your team.

In summary, you love getting things done. You have a drive like no other and use your curiosity and problem solving skills to handle multiple priorities with your finger always on the pulse.

Have developed plans in consultation with a management team to successfully implement business strategy
Are passionate about the details and don’t let anything fall through the cracks
Thrive on accountability and have a strong drive for results supported by clear KPIs and data

What you will do in this role:
Develop the culture and the employment brand to attract top talent
Recruit and onboard new team members and ensure effective processes to support this are aligned across practices
Set clear, measurable KPIs, support the team to grow, develop and perform at their best and achieve desired business growth whilst having fun at work
Lead the day to day operations of the Gladstone practice and oversee multiple other practices ensuring people, processes and systems are in place and operating smoothly
Regularly travel to other practices to coach and support the growth of the Practice Managers and broader team, oversee rosters, stock management, resolve issues and ensure that each practice is delivering a high quality customer experience and strong commercial results
Manage relationships with health insurance providers and identify strategic partnerships, eg. with large employers, to become a preferred supplier and increase patient numbers
Ensure social media channels are maximised to positively promote the service delivery, customer experience and attract new patients
Ensure all customers receive an exceptional customer experience, educating and nurturing customers to strengthen relationships
Contribute to and implement the brand vision alongside the management team
Ensure processes, systems and change plans are in place to support the growth of the business, drive high performance, increase efficiency and manage any risks
Ensure that all practices follow the appropriate sterilisation protocols and safe work practices
