Job Description
Reporting to the CFO, the newly created position of Group Procurement and Contracts manager will deliver a range of key commercial activities across the global business. You will lead the transformation of their procurement and contracts portfolio into a strategic global function, maturing a number of the critical methodologies and processes.
Identify and implement a purchase to pay strategy across the group with a focus on efficient and cost effective delivery
Currently running a decentralised model, you will develop a strategy to create maximum value across the regions while minimising risk and ensuring governance is in place
Execute a global procurement and contracts framework including policy, process and systems
Work cross functionally with the global teams to ensure there is a focus on customer centricity, contract negotiation and supplier performance management
While this role wont have direct reports, you will manage a number of key stakeholders across the business
While this role will at times have a hands on element in sourcing and negotiating critical spend portfolios, your role will primarily be to deliver the global strategy across the group as there will continue to be regional autonomy for transactional procurement.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be an experienced Procurement leader with a skill set that focuses on multi site procurement, experience in the transformation of an existing decentralised model, implementation of a P2P function as well as the ability to deliver a company wide strategy.
You will also demonstrate the ability to influence regional stakeholders during the roll out of a number of new programs of work. You will be someone who is comfortable balancing your time between executing the big picture global work along with being in the day to day detail when needed.
