In this exciting and challenging position, you will be working in the Port of Brisbane Office as part of a national team providing leadership and technical support with respect to quality.
Your key responsibilities will include:
To support and foster the company’s culture and values to achieve the objective of HSEQ Excellence, with an emphasis on quality awareness within our workforce and staff.
Function as a lead and reference point for other key quality representatives in the business, to allow for information exchange, build consistency to allow the business to grow and mature.
To provide technical expertise to answer questions and points of difference from HSEQ Representatives and Senior Management throughout the business on Quality.
Communicate quality improvements and changes, industry / client requirements, alerts, and learnings across the Group.
Approve and review documentation and process at a Group level that have a quality impact prior to their release.
Develop, maintain, and review the Quality Management System to ensure continual improvement.
Create the release of quality alerts to ensure continual improvement in the business.
Represent the BMD Group at the relevant quality industry bodies and events.
Fill the role as technical expert in relation to a crisis event at a corporate level.
About you:
We are looking for the right candidate to join our team and will consider applicants with roughly 10 years relevant experience in Quality Management in Construction. You will have:
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical exposure
10 years+ experience in Quality Management in Construction
