About the Role
The role is responsible for responding to all booking enquiries including group reservations for direct guests. These bookings will range from budget offerings to high-end, all-inclusive experiences.
Key responsibilities of the role include -
- Creating bookings in a timely and accurate manner, with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle high volumes of enquiries, always delivering the highest level of customer service.
- Ability to build successful relationships with guests, trade partners, service providers and key stakeholders both internal and external to the business.
- A team player that actively contributes to the team and collaboratively works with their colleagues to complete tasks and meet goals.
- Self-motivated to develop and maintain knowledge of all properties, contracted inventory, and key trade partners.
- Confidently upselling and cross-selling inventory and properties.
- Ability to meet and exceed KPI's and team targets
To be successful in the role you will -
- A knowledge of the trade distribution network would be an advantage
- Previous experience working in sales/customer service
- Experience in working towards key performance indicators
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and professional phone manner and precise email correspondence
- Can-do attitude with the ability to use initiative
- Technologically savvy with the ability to operate multiple programs in conjunction with one another
