Your new role
Reporting directly to the COO this is an executive role managing and leading Sales and Estimating teams to add value and solution to customer sales. You will be developing strategies and setting goals and objectives for the sales team to achieve targets through sales plans, campaigns, and training. You’ll be motivating, coaching, and guiding your team ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed. This role requires the fostering of customer relationships in a positive way to ensure their needs are met and maintained. You’ll be developing and managing the sales budget and allocating resources to achieve objectives as well as collaborating with other departments and divisional managers as well as the wider team. You’ll play a key part in sales and operations meetings and reporting sales data to upper management to inform business decisions.
What you'll need to succeed
Sales and operations management experience managing a team of 5 or more
Construction Industry knowledge
Tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated equivalent industry experience
IT/computer skills
Proven experience in people management and development
Have family values
Drive and motivation
Be articulate and professional
A firm but fair leadership style
Have a natural ability at rapport building
Be responsive and supportive
