Youthworks Conference Centres provide a place of temporary community for groups for relational and personal growth. About the role

Youthworks Conference Centres is seeking Guest Relations Assistants for our team at Port Hacking, situated in the beautiful Royal National Park, just outside Sutherland. This full time role offers flexible shifts to service seven day a week operations. Your key role will be contributing to our guests satisfaction, through providing high quality meal service to Youthworks standards.

  • No more late nights! Evening shifts finish at 8pm (with minimal exceptions)

  • No split shifts – (38 hour week, 2 days off together)

  • Supportive team

Your responsibilities

  • Provide high quality meal service to our guests

  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining room

  • Ensure that centres are prepared for guests arrival, including but not limited to room set up and pack down, cleaning tasks, and any other set up required

You will need to demonstrate

  • A passion for serving people

  • An ability to manage your time well

  • Strong verbal communication skills with a focus on providing strong customer service

  • An ability to work with a wide range of staff to achieve effective outcomes

  • A strong work ethos with a strong attention to detail

  • A willingness to work within an overtly Christian environment and with an Anglican organisation

  • A cleared and verified NSW Working with Children Check

  • A willingness to learn new skills and grow

What we would really like you to have

  • A personal Christian faith

  • Hospitality and/or customer service experience

Additional information

Current drivers licence and own transport is essential as there is no public transport anywhere near the Youthworks Conference Centres.
