About the Role:
Our Maintenance team is growing and we're seeking experienced Field Service Mechanics, to support our growing business across Western Australia.
Earn the big bucks $$$ - $85p/hr (inclusive of retention bonus)
Visa Sponsorship / Permanent Residency Assistance on offer to highly skilled applicants currently residing in Australia only
Vehicle provided by SMS
Various Rosters - family friendly or longer swings $$
Immediate starts available
Repair and maintain the hydraulic components of large mining equipment
Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and test diesel-powered heavy equipment including trucks, buses, dozers, and other earth-moving equipment
Communicate any safety or maintenance issues to the supervisor
Completing required safety duties such as job inspections, task planning, JHAs, Take 5s, and others as required
Skills and Experience:
Experience on Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi Equipment
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
Able to work well under pressure, and meet deadlines
Previous field service experience
Minimum 3 years post trade experience
Valid C Class Drivers Licence
Take pride in your work and seeing a job well done
Air conditioning licence - preferred
High risk licence
Strong integrity, reliable and desire to achieve quality outcomes
Able to work independently without supervision, as well as in a team environment
Previous experience in the mining industry in a similar role
Total commitment to safety
Able to Pass Pre-Employment Medical
