This is an extraordinary opening for an experienced Head Chef or experienced senior Sous Chef seeking their next leap forward. Take charge of the kitchen team at our client's vibrant, yet refined, Japanese fusion restaurant situated within their stunning waterfront luxury hotel in Townsville.
Reporting to the Group Executive Chef, we're after a true professional with impressive credentials & skills. This hands-on role demands a commitment to authentic, high-quality produce and exceptional service.
Skills we need from you include:
Head Chef or experienced Senior Sous Chef with an excellent understanding of kitchen operations & experience working within a team during a busy service
Must have experience in well regarded, market-leading restaurants
Strong experience with modern Japanese cuisine
Strong understanding of kitchen financials & budgeting
Eager to motivate & lead the rest of the team in busy service
Bring natural energy & passion to the role
Ability to develop a talented team
Ability to work in a busy kitchen environment while keeping your cool
Availability to start in August
