About the role
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Business Development and Marketing will ensure enduring organisational competitiveness and sustainability in relevant markets, through ongoing hands-on relationship building and overseeing of customer related activities.
The role will be responsible for attracting and retaining referral (business) flows through engagement with customers, both directly and indirectly, ensuring that customer needs inform the services that are delivered by our allied health clinicians.
Key responsibilities:
Work with the leadership team to establish customer and service-related strategies
Ensure the company competes strongly and sustainably in its relevant markets
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and industry partners
Coordinate and support business development and account management activities
Work collaboratively with the wider team to champion continuous improvement, and research and development initiatives
Ensure that customer feedback is captured, analysed and shared to inform strategy
Manage the Marketing business function
Compile budgets and ensure that financial performance targets are met

About you
To be considered for this position you will be a solid BD professional, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. You must have experience working in changing environments as well as a strong ability to work autonomously.
It is essential that you possess:
Degree qualified in relevant discipline.
At least five years’ experience within chosen discipline.
Strong understanding of business development and marketing principals.
Health industry experience and knowledge of compensable injury schemes.
Ability to listen and relate to a range of stakeholders, adapting communication. appropriate for each situation and negotiating mutual outcomes.
Ability to apply creative thinking.
