An exciting opportunity exists to join the team as Head of Campus at Tagai State College. This a temporary full-time position and will report directly to the Executive Principal. This position is a specific purpose role for two years, in order to lead the campus reforms and culture change that is required to respond to the recent school review. The position has been classified at Level 7 to recognise the transformational and relational leadership skills that will be necessary in this role. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate proven educational and curriculum leadership expertise with appropriate personal and professional capabilities that are suited to this remote setting which operates respecting the auspices of the local YUMI way. About the School
Tagai State College located in the Torres Strait comprises 16 Primary and one Secondary campus. These campuses are spread across 48,000 square kilometres of ocean in a remote part of Queensland. For most students, English is an additional language. There are approximately 400 students enrolled across years 7-12 with growth expected in coming years. The Campus has a leadership team comprising a Head of Campus, two Deputy Principals, one Deputy Principal (inclusion), Guidance Officer and four Heads of Department.
