NEVERFAIL

Neverfail Spring Water is a great Australian success story and is a part of the Coca-Cola Europacific Partners group servicing approximately 70,000+ customers. The business was created in 1987 by a Sydney based entrepreneur called Harry Hilliam and his family. They lived on the Hawkesbury River and had a natural spring water source on his property called Neverfail as it “never failed to produce water, no matter how dry it got".

Fast forward to today and Neverfail is Australia's #1 spring water cooler business; it's an untapped gem from both a profitability and sustainability perspective and has significant possibilities to expand in the future.

In 2022, a new strategic vision was developed to lead Neverfail into its next chapter; this involves significant capital investment in systems and processes, digitizing and modernizing our customer experience, and becoming more agile in the way we deliver to our customers.

Job Purpose

In this role, you will be responsible for strategically driving and holding the LT to account on the strategic initiatives and direction of the Neverfail business ensuring we hit key millstones and commercial deliverables in line with agreed timelines.

You will be accountable for:

  • Setting the strategy direction and aligning key levers across the total business,
  • Pulse checking, milestone management and course correction
  • Understanding macro and micro trends that supports business direction and redirection
  • 3-5 year strategy direction working closely with Finance on long range planning, RMP and budget setting
  • Setting course and building horizons as an outcome of the Strategic Business Review
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking, strong commercial acumen whilst having the agility to manage and lead a complex strategy. The role requires a strong understanding of the bulk water industry and the macro/micro economic influencers that can impact the short- and long-term strategy. Additionally, the role requires strong leadership skills to influence peers without authority as well as engaging the Neverfail Community along the transformation journey.

Leadership

  • Partner with the business to facilitate regular governance routines, including providing a project lens to existing capital management routines and strategic projects.
  • Balance of time allocation to Strategic and tactical thinking
Commercial Acumen
  • Understand full P&L management and key financial metrics to running a retail business
  • Clear KPIs lined to business objectives
  • Understand Bulk Water industry dynamics and implications for Neverfail |CCEP
  • Interpreting data to develop insights

About You
  • 4+ years' experience in business transformation
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders including 1:1 coaching, facilitation of governance routines and facilitation of workshops and training.
  • Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Customer orientation and responsiveness.
  • Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations and provide recommendations to the business.
  • Bachelor Degree in General Business (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of a variety of different Project Management & Change Management frameworks and approaches (including Human centred design, design-thinking, and agile business delivery)
