The Role
A leadership opportunity has arisen within one of Brisbane's landmark precincts. This role will have end-to-end development responsibilities, from precinct planning, placemaking, commercial deal structuring & negotiation through to project delivery.
The role will be responsible for developing and recommending strategies across a major mixed-use precinct. Understanding the complexities of multiple asset classes (Retail, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure/Entertainment, Sport, Automotive & Health) within a major mixed-use masterplan will be a priority.
You will lead and coordinate the establishment and update of Strategic Precinct Plans that focus on the highest and best use of the land. And ultimately turning the creative into commercial action by delivering that plan over the short, medium and long term. This involves Commercial deal structuring and negotiation as well as the ability to effectively drive your development & delivery teams.

The successful candidate in this role will have the following:
Tertiary qualifications in Property Economics, Planning, Design or a related discipline.
Minimum of 15 years working in the commercial or retail sector of property development.
Experience at a senior level in masterplanning, development AND delivery of major mixed-use precincts.
Advanced understanding of property, financial, legal and development issues surrounding major property investments.
Good communication and commercial negotiation skills.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a high performing team.
An understanding of property valuation methodology and project feasibility analysis.
