Job Description

• Fixed REM Circa $270,000 + 20% STI
• Sydney based / flexible remote work environment
• Reporting to the CEO, drive change across this IT landscape

This large privately owned goods supplier is seeking an experienced Head of Information Technology to lead their technology function and drive change through innovative solutions.

As the Head of Information Technology, you will be responsible for the overall technology strategy, ensuring alignment with the business objectives, and driving improvements that support business objectives. You will report to the CEO and work closely with other executives to identify areas for improvement and create a roadmap for change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the technology strategy in line with the company's objectives.
• Work with business leaders to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Ensure alignment of technology solutions with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies that can enhance operational efficiency and provide a competitive advantage.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal utilization of resources.
• Oversee the support and management of the Pronto ERP system.
• Ensure the security and reliability of the company's technology infrastructure.
• Manage a team of 15 reports across support and projects, building succession plans and developing team capability.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the technology team.

Requirements:

• Experience driving change and improvements in organisations with a broad footprint (ie. Retail, Real Estate, QSR etc..)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven track record in technology leadership roles.
• Experience driving changes to the team structure of an IT function.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, ideally Pronto.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
• You will be a strong people leader demonstrating an ability to manage and motivate a team of technical professionals.
• Experience onboarding new company acquisitions.
• Good tenure throughout your previous employers
