About the role
The Head of Marketing is responsible for the enterprise leadership of SilverChef's marketing strategy and operation across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States. With a customer-first mindset you will bring visibility and clarity to the end-to-end customer journey at SilverChef, leveraging market research and consumer insights to develop a data-driven approach to customer. Applying this research, you will bring a deep understanding of SilverChef customers' motivation, needs and behaviours to design and deliver successful brand and product marketing campaigns that drive growth.
Using your expertise in brand strategy and stakeholder management, you will embed a shared understanding of SilverChef's brand identity across the SilverChef business. This includes working together with SilverChef's People Team to consistently amplify and uplift our employer brand across owned channels.
Equally importantly, you will lead the team to design, develop and deliver a program of content, events, networking and education to expand and deepen relationships with our 2,000 equipment dealer partners globally and support our sales teams to reach their targets.
The areas of focus for this role are:
Drive a strategic marketing plan and campaign calendar that engages customers at all stages of the buying cycle to drive awareness, consideration, and purchase;
Develop and execute programs of work that support lead generation and growth, brand awareness and loyalty, and position us competitively with our partners and customers;
Lead the team to build a strong working relationship with SilverChef's sales function, supporting great commercial outcomes and delivering a measurable contribution to sales acquisitions, volume and value;
Effectively manage the Group's marketing P&L, regularly reporting on the outcomes of the investment;
Manage both internal and external stakeholder relationships to drive performance, including with key industry partners, digital agencies, and marketing vendors; and
Effectively lead, coach and develop the global marketing team, embedding a strong performance culture and growth mindset.
About you
This is a senior marketing role that requires a strong operational marketing background to ideally both B2B and B2C audiences, previous experience in a Head of Marketing or Director of Marketing role and an empowering, inspiring leadership style. To be considered, your background and experience must cover the following:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, or similar field;
Minimum 10 years' experience in marketing (brand, campaign management, digital etc);
Currently performing in a senior leadership capacity, managing a mid to large sized marketing team;
Demonstrated experience in marketing strategy and implementation across both B2B and B2C customer bases;
Technical expertise in digital platforms including web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation;
Knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, namely Pardot and Sales Cloud, whilst not essential, would be highly regarded;
An analytical and conceptual thinker, able to develop insights from complex reporting and analysis;
Proven experience managing and collaborating with stakeholders to drive both commercial and customer outcomes;
Passionate people leader who is driven to grow and develop the capabilities of their team members;
Entrepreneurial spirit - excited by the belief that you can make a positive difference to the industry; and
Willingness to embrace a commitment to positive social and environmental impact.
