Job description

The role: We are on the lookout for a Head of Planning to join our Superdry, Replay & Canada Goose team! Reporting directly General Manager – Superdry, Replay & Canada Goose, this multi-faceted role leads two direct reports and support includes, but is not limited to the Superdry, Replay and Canada Goose brands.
As the Head of Planning, you will manage the brands' planning needs across three channels (full-price, outlet, and e-commerce). You are responsible for planning and forecast all stock requirements for the brands' channels, ensuring the successful procurement and allocation of stock that results in balanced assortments and stock-levels in stores to achieve (and exceed) sales budgets, margins and manage stock levels.
You will lead, guide and manage the workflow of all planning tasks, data extraction and interpretation on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis, and continually assess the stock requirements (based on product/size/store performance) and communicate stock levels to the team and ensure accurate forecasting and order placement on suppliers.
In addition, you:
Manage, assess, and provide feedback on the range of effectiveness of products in stores
Lead in-season & post-seasonal meetings with quality analysis on sales trends, profitability, product life cycle, pricing, sizing, product attributes and to use this information to compile product and assortment plans to ensure a balanced assortment is planned upfront
Manage pre-season range plans, store phasing, allocations and rollups
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure inventory levels are kept within set KPIs and ‘tail’ managed accordingly
Stock forecasting, OTB management, markdown strategies, correct seasonal flow and continual store stock balancing
Build and manage financial plans for the categories within and across brands
Share information on trends based on product performance, forecasts and conduct financial planning and make projections based on data.
The skills and experience we are looking for:
3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, with a clear understanding of the industry
Strong Planning, organising and leadership skills
Financial & commercial analysis and interpretation
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail and decision making skills
Ability to work under pressure and resilience
Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills
Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team as well as autonomously
AP21 experience preferred but not essential.
