The opportunity:
Lead a team of financial experts to partner with icare’s Enterprise Project Portfolio to provide financial oversight and enhance benefit realisation. You will also enhance discipline, analysis and reporting as well as provide expert advice across the Enterprise Project Portfolio. This role will be a key contributor to the establishment and embedment of commercial oriented culture at icare.
It’s an exciting environment where no two days are the same, but on a typical day you will:
- Provide clear expert advice to the GM Financial Performance and Analysis, GM Program Delivery, Chief Financial Officer, Organisational Performance team, and other key stakeholders on the financial management of icare’s Enterprise Project Portfolio.
- Operate as a senior business partner to the Enterprise Project Portfolio team, influencing and driving financial discipline and a commercial acumen.
- Build productive relationships and lead collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business.
- Lead the continuous improvement to support and enhance the financial management and governance of Enterprise programs/projects from business case through to benefit realisation.
- Lead the Enterprise Project Portfolio forecast and budget process to ensure that the outputs are robust and accurate, ensuring alignment to overall scheme objectives and strategies, in partnership with the Program Delivery teams.
Your story so far:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant with 15 years of Accounting experience.
- Business partnering, project financials and systems experience, with advanced reporting skills using Excel.
- Strong relationship manager and collaborator with a positive can-do resilient attitude and agility to manage multiple complex tasks.
- Ideally, you will also have financial leadership experience together with experience in the insurance industry.
