About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen, assist with menu development and management of cost for your area. You will lead, motivate and supervise the team while ensuring quality and consistency. You must be energetic and enthusiastic with a real passion for your craft.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
- Experience as a Pastry Head Chef or Senior Sous chef in an a-la-carte restaurant
- Display creativity and a passion for all things pastry
- Exemplary leadership skills with focus on staff development
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable to change
- Solution focused and possess initiative
