We are currently seeking an experienced Head Rowing Coach for a full-time role, this is a three-year contract.
The Role
- Lead, direct and run a structured Loreto Normanhurst Rowing Program.
- Oversee and lead the coaches of the rowing program and provide them with mentoring development and coaching.
- Management of the rowing sheds, storerooms and equipment.
- Responsible for the management of maintenance and repairs of all rowing and coaching equipment.
- Provide a safe environment for students to learn new skills and discover personal limits and to grow as individuals.
- Assisting with logistical planning and management of rowing venues.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Relevant rowing coaching qualifications are essential, minimum of Level 2.
- Experience and skills in the maintenance of and repairs of rowing related equipment.
- Experience towing rowing boat trailers is essential.
- Must hold a Current NSW Boat Licence and it is preferable to have a light or medium Rigid Drivers Licence.
- Display commitment, professionalism, integrity, knowledge and expertise.
- Proven leadership ability and commitment to a collaborative leadership and decision-making style.
- Possess a genuine passion for coaching and the ability to develop, strengthen and improve coaches and athletes of all abilities to reach their full potential.
