As the Health and Safety Coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Provide input to the development of targeted HSE Improvement Plans
- Ensure all incidents and near misses are investigated in accordance with Customer and Company procedures
- Drive the Zero Harm culture on site
- Participate in regular Project risk reviews and report on progress against Risk Management objectives
- Provide technical advice to project teams on HSE matters
Required qualifications and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety or equivalent
- Previous experience in HSE and Risk in the resources and construction industry
- Thorough understanding of current HSE legislation and a proven ability to pragmatically apply this knowledge
- Ability to develop and deliver HSE training, develop high quality HSE management plans, facilitate HSE Risk Assessments, undertake Root Cause Analyses and lead HSE audits
