Macquarie Park Location
Our client a large NSW state government department is seeking a Health and Safety officer to coordinate and support the health and safety reporting. This includes the work involved in delivering regular and ad hoc health & safety performance reporting for Executives, Divisional and other key stakeholders.
This is a contract role for 6 months, located in MacMacquarie Park with WFH options available, with a pay rate of $500 per day plus super.
Duties:
Collaborate with stakeholder's agency-wide to provide consistency and improvement in reporting processes, definitions to enable greater transparency and oversight.
Identify opportunities to streamline our H&S reporting and improve better ways of working by using technology.
Actively participate in triage process to improve data integrity.
Investigate new data sources, industry partner source systems and business processes to understand the right data to enable desired business outcomes and solutions.
Essential Skills:
You will have existing experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Australian Work Health & Safety Legislation and Codes of Practice.
Demonstrated stakeholder management and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety and/or relevant industry experience
