Then you could be the perfect Health Centre Clerk (AO3) for our service. Specifically, we’re looking for a people person. Someone with a high degree of professionalism that has demonstrated experience in administrative and health records management in a hospital or health care setting. Someone with excellent oral & written communication skills and demonstrated experience in the use of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook, Internet/Intranet, and other applications as required. Here at Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network, the Health Centre Clerk position is responsible for the administrative support in the health centre. The role includes a high level of diligence and accuracy with the handling of information including filing, assembly, retrieval, culling and tracking of medical records. This position is responsible for the administrative and secretarial support for the Health Centre, Nursing Unit Manager and Nurse Manager. The role and responsibilities are to be carried out in a manner that is consistent with delegations, policies, procedures and operations systems of JH&FMHN, and in line with both the NSW Health Code of Conduct and JH&FMHN Code of Conduct.

Demonstrated previous experience in administrative and health records management in a hospital or health care setting.

Proven and demonstrated ability to multi-task and organise work priorities whilst working under minimal supervision.
