Lismore Health Promotion is seeking a Health Education Officer who has the ability to improve the health of people in Northern NSW through a coordinated population health approach in line with the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) Business Plan, annual Northern NSW Health Promotion Business plans and Health Promotion Strategy.
If you have:
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain community, government and non-government partnerships and negotiating to build the capacity of other organisations to promote healthy lifestyles
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including skills in use of common computer packages preferably Microsoft Office, MS Outlook, social media and some desktop publishing skills
- Knowledge and experience in health promotion planning, implementation, evaluation and dissemination and knowledge/experience of current health promotion theory and evidence based practice
