The opportunity:
This role is responsible for providing support for the delivery of the healthcare quality outcome and healthcare practitioner engagement initiatives in the Medical Office. It has a key liaison role between the Medical Office and other business functions focussed on healthcare practitioners.
It's an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Healthcare Outcomes Support Officer you will:
- Support the monitoring of healthcare practitioner risk issues and incidents and assist the team with actions and responses
- Provide first point of contact and monitor, manage and refer queries relating to concerns or queries regarding healthcare practitioner issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal business areas
- Prepare information and data for analysis, communication, presentations, and reporting
- Provide quality assurance checks on data, information, presentations and correspondence
- Maintain and update records, processes, procedures and databases to ensure information is current, accurate and compliant with system and business requirements
- Experience in workers compensation, other personal injury insurance or healthcare provider setting
- Demonstrated attention to detail combined with the ability to think analytically
- Organisational skills combined with the ability to prioritise work in a high-volume environment
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools
- Strong communication and organisational skills
