We are continuing to build on our reputation and with this comes winning new projects. Due to these project successes, we require the following experienced underground personnel to join the maintenance team within busy Kalgoorlie workshop.
About the Role
RUC Mining currently have an opportunity for trade qualified Heavy Diesel Fitters to join the busy maintenance team within the Kalgoorlie workshop working a 5/2 Roster or a 9/5 Roster.
Servicing and maintaining Underground mobile plant and equipment such as Jumbo’s, Boggers, Graders and Loaders
Diagnosing and troubleshooting of mechanical faults
Dismantle and assemble machine parts, and engines and replace worn-out parts
Conduct routine inspections and schedule maintenance of plant equipment
Perform routine lubrication of machine parts, tuning of the engine, and ensure the machines are working to site compliance
Provide preventive and corrective maintenance as per maintenance plan
Updating maintenance log books in line with company policies and procedures
Tickets and Licences Required:
Certificate III or higher in Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Technology
Strong knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
Valid Manual Australian Driver's Licence
Able to provide National Police Clearance (within 6 months of commencement)
Working Safely at Heights
Hold current Provide First Aid or ability to complete the course

Please note - The workshop positions require you to be residentially based in Kalgoorlie. Relocation is on offer for this residential based position.
