Company Overview: Melbourne Natural Medicine Clinic is a well-established wellness and natural health clinic dedicated to providing personalised and holistic healthcare solutions. We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Herbal and Nutritional Compounding Dispensary Naturopath with administration experience to join our team. We are currently located in North Melbourne but we are re-locating to South Melbourne very soon date TBC.
Position Summary: As a Herbal and Nutritional Compounding Dispensary Naturopath you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients on their wellness journey by providing expert advice on natural health products and supplements. In addition to your naturopathic responsibilities, this role requires strong administration skills to contribute to the efficient functioning of our clinic. This role would suit a recent Naturopath graduate or a Naturopath looking for a change in pace, who is lively, personable, confident, and friendly with an administration and customer service background as there will also be administration/front of house related tasks to complete.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct 'quick script' consultations with walk in clients to assess their health needs and recommend appropriate natural remedies.
- Take ownership of the dispensary, including inventory control, some ordering, and organising products and compounding products.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client enquiries and concerns.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and processing payments and other reception tasks.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in naturopathy and have a current association number, insurance & an up to date first aid certificate.
- Strong knowledge of natural health products, herbal medicine, and Nutritional supplements.
- Previous experience working in a natural medicine clinic, dispensary, or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven administrative experience.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
