Are you passionate about hockey and skilled in identifying and nurturing talent? An exciting opportunity awaits you as our new Hockey Recruitment Officer in Rockhampton! Join our vibrant team and play a key role in shaping the future of hockey in our community.

Based in Rockhampton, your main focus will involve establishing strong relationships with regional school administrators to coordinate and organise school-based hockey sports activities. Your passion for championing school-based programs will shine as you coordinate and facilitate engaging activities and sessions. Leveraging your social media expertise, you will elevate the visibility of our beloved sport of hockey in schools and across our Rockhampton region, resulting in the successful promotion of, and a subsequent boost in player registrations across all our RHA-affiliated clubs.

In addition to your school-focused duties, you will take an active role in leading skills and drills sessions, while overseeing and coordinating the development of our volunteer coaches.  Furthermore, you will seamlessly integrate into various operational tasks associated with running our Association. This includes taking responsibility for diverse administration tasks and willingly contributing to various championship/event events hosted by the RHA.

In return, we offer you flexible part-time working arrangements of up to 30 hours per week. Occasional travel may be required, such as attending hockey events in our region.
