- Fixed Term (7 Months - Ends 3rd of March 2023) - Part Time (0.8FTE)
- Located in the Southern East Region - Dandenong office location
- Supporting young people and foster carers both new and established
Your role:
Direct casework with children, their families and their carers, case management responsibilities, facilitating contact between children and their families, liaising with external agencies and professionals, participating in staff meetings, participating in regular supervision with Team Leader and attending Professional Development opportunities.
The skills you will use day to day:
- Prepare written reports, maintain records and manage time effectively and efficiently
- Provide a case management service in complex family circumstances where multiple service providers may be involved
- Liaise with and coordinate the actions of clients, volunteer caregivers and a range of professionals and other services
- Conflict resolution skills, including the ability to appropriately balance the competing demands and interests of key stakeholders such as clients, caregivers, families and the organisation
- Skills in assessment and planning
What you need to know:
- A salary at SCHCADS level 5 which now starts at around $88,000-$94,000 plus super
- Flexible through the increments up to 5.3 (dependent upon experience)
- Pro rata to 4 days per week
- Based at our office in Dandenong
