Looking For Support Workers!

Prior to the engagement of our services, there is a thorough meeting with one of our team members to match each individual with an ideal candidate as a support worker.
The primary responsibilities of a support worker is to assist participants in all aspects of the daily living skills such as but not limited to: Assisting with personal care routines, domestic duties, attending/making appointment, social and community access. We are looking for experienced In-Home Care Workers to join our team. You must be available for a minimum (4) days a week to be successful.
Please note that this is a In-Home Care Role and the shifts do vary from 2hrs - 8hrs.
Key Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Build report and collaborate effectively with staff/management, participants, their family and friends to achieve a positive outcome and ensure a smooth flow of service delivery throughout the course of the participants plan.
- Assist with liaising with participants family and friends to explore new goals, ambitions, promote and empower participants to achieve their goals and provide a medium of strong communication. Increase participants skills with your active support and promote independence by enhancing their skills, and personal development.
- Provide regular and frequent quality and professional support in line with participants plan, needs, and wants.
- Assisting participants with accessing their social community to engage with their friends and social groups to promote a healthier lifestyle.
- Implement strategies and programs to develop/enhance participant skills, identify areas of increased support, and opportunities for services to help achieve their goals.
- Shifts that are available range from Monday through till Sunday, timings of shift vary.

- National Criminal History Record Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR
- NDIS Screening Check
- Driver’s License and Vehicle
Successful applicant will be expected to have a good understanding of how to support an individual living with disability. Must be passionate about helping others to maintain their quality of life. You'll need to be compassionate, empathetic with strong listening and communication skills.
