Acute Hospital Account Manager/Equipment Specialist
An exciting role exists for and experienced Territory Manager/Equipment Specialist with a strong sales background in the Hospital space. Alternatively, you may be an Allied Health Professional with strong clinical experience who is looking for a move into sales.
The role
We are looking for a dynamic and outgoing candidate to join the current sales team in Queensland due to growth across the various markets.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for marketing and driving revenue for a diverse range of capital and medical equipment. You will offer expert advice and your technical expertise presented to key stakeholders ranging from NUMs to C-Suite, and will deliver solutions to facilities, whilst also driving better patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities are as follows:
Meet or exceed allocated budget requirements
Maintain existing company accounts, driving better results for end user
Provide technical support and education to customers regarding product application, installation, and appropriate use
Build networks among various stakeholders both internally and externally to assist in the growth of assigned territory
Advise management of trends and developments within the market
Work to a call plan and utilise CRM functions to strategise future opportunities
Work collaboratively with the business’ operations and service teams to develop other areas of the organisation
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes
Driven with a sales mentality, resilient and adaptable to change
Proven sales success within the hospital sales industry or other related fields
OTs, Physios, nurses desirable, however not essential
Understanding the private and public hospital system, and the procurement process
Ability to identify and develop new opportunities
Ability to work autonomously, but also a team player within the business both locally and nationally
Strong time management and communication skills
Strong negotiation and selling skills
Ability to communicate technical and clinical information to a variety of external stakeholders
Willingness to travel overnight where required regionally and also sales attend sales conferences interstate
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Relationships with key opinion leaders within hospital and healthcare
