SalaryWe are currently recruiting for the role of Chief Engineer for this hotel and convention centre, located in central Hobart in Tasmania.
We are looking for:
- A qualified engineer or tradesperson; with prior experience maintaining a premium product and managing complex project works.
- Someone with strong safety and compliance focuses with a sound understanding of local legislative requirements. You will work collaboratively across all departments, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- A passionate leader and a strong communicator with strengths in developing an empowered team capable of delivering work at the highest standard possible.

- Be able to take responsibility for establishing and maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule and completing minor repairs as required.
- Effectively manage all contractors, maintaining all permits and licenses; ensuring sound compliance and the highest standards of safety and security for all guests and colleagues.
- Previous experience as a Chief Engineer in a hotel or guest service environment preferred
