The Position
St John of God Bunbury Hospital located in the south west of Western Australia, is regarded as one of the finest private hospitals outside the metropolitan area.
With 145 beds and more than 330 highly qualified medical practitioners, our health care facility caters for a variety of medical and surgical admissions, palliative care, maternity services, plus allied health and community-based services.
This is an opportunity for you to join our friendly and supportive Hotel Services Team.
We have four different positions available: * Chef - Whilst working this rewarding role you will prepare, cook and present meals for patients and staff at the hospital, which are of a high standard of excellence in accordance with the Australian Dietary Standards. To be considered for this role you must possess a relevant trade certificate.
- Food Service Assistant - In this important role you will assist in the preparation, delivery and service of meals to patients and staff to a high standard of excellence.
- Food & Café Services Assistant - You will be an important member of the Café team ensuring the delivery of high quality product and service to all customers. Responsibilities include efficient delivery of service, clearing and assisting with the plating of meals and cleaning.
- Patient Services Assistant - As an essential member of the environmental services team you will contribute to the team approach in the provision of quality patient care by providing support services to clinical staff.
There are multiple casual positions available in each role.
The successful candidate(s) will meet these essential requirements:
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Demonstrated experience within a Café and/or food service environment (for first three roles only).
- Ability to work as a team member with excellent work ethics and communication.
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
