Ozone CPS is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader who will be responsible for managing and leading the Housekeeping Team at one of our hotels You must have leadership experience, excellent customer service skills and a passion for working with people. The Role : The Housekeeping Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and training housekeeping staff, and inspecting rooms, general cleaning and housemen role if needed. Responsible for ensuring that hotel rooms and facilities are kept in a clean and orderly condition in line with hotel policies and guest satisfaction. Carry out opening and closing procedures including hosting morning meeting, staff warm-up, and assigning rooms and tasks. Inspecting and releasing rooms to the highest of standards To undertake general housekeeping duties (Public Areas, Houseperson and Cleaning rooms) alongside the Housekeeping Teams. To monitor, maintain stock levels for the team, ordering when required. To ensure Health & Safety and hygiene requirements within the area of responsibility are met. To handle guests feedback and comment within area of responsibility, either dealing with them directly or escalating as appropriate. Inspire the team to achieve high standards of work and guest care. Controlling productivity of team. Key Requirements: Valid working rights in Australia Previous 4-5 star hotel experience required Key Position Responsibilities: Ensure your team is cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and hotel public areas to the highest cleanliness standards. Establish and implement operational procedures and standards. Train and mentor the Housekeeping team. Inspect all assigned areas to ensure standards are met and maintained. Provides support to the work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure a clean environment. Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and coordinates with supervisor to take corrective action. Attends training classes to develop housekeeping techniques and procedures, and enhance leadership skills. Assists with issuing supplies and equipment to workers. Plans work schedule for daily work orders and major tasks. Directly responsible to ensure the clients requests are assigned to personnel and completed in a timely manner daily.
