About the Role
Tronox is seeking an experienced Human Resources Administrator based at our Chandala Processing Plant in Muchea, WA on a permanent full-time 12-month fixed term contract.
As the HR Administrator, you will have a strong focus on coordinating the day-to-day administration duties for the HR Team across two major sites incorporating the Chandala Plant and Cooljarloo Mine, near Cataby, WA. Travel may be required occasionally to Cooljarloo.
Chandala Processing Plant is located near Muchea, 70km north of the CBD. The location offers a range of lifestyle options including the opportunity to reside in coastal towns such as Burns Beach, Iluka and Mindarie which are an easy 30 minute drive during the nine (9) day fortnight where you will be home every night.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate day-to-day administration tasks.
- Managing and maintaining all employee data within the HRIS.
- Coordinate employee and position variations.
- Coordinate monthly HR reporting and tracking HR costs.
- Support routine employee HR queries and direct more complex matters to the HR team.
- Coordinate with Payroll on all employee changes.
- Assist with new starter onboarding activities.
About You
We are looking for a person with the following qualities:
- Advanced level of computer systems including Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Experienced administrating and maintaining large volumes of data.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Adaptable and able to work in a high-volume role, working as part of a team.
- Customer-focused and always looking for new ways to drive efficiencies.
- Comfortable handling sensitive information and remaining highly confidential.
- Ideally experience in a human resources administration position.
- A degree or Diploma in HR or related discipline (highly regarded).
