The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Human Resources Administrator to join the McCullough Robertson Brisbane team! If you are a recent university graduate, or are currently studying a degree in HR, this is the perfect role for you.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this recently created position is responsible for performing administrative duties for the Human Resources team, as well as supporting the Corporate Reception team on an ad hoc basis. There are opportunities for career growth within the HR team for the right candidate.
Human Resources Administration duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide administrative support to the HR team in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and operations;
Providing administrative support to the recruitment team including lateral recruitment and the firm's clerkship and graduate programs;
Assisting with administration of various HR projects;
Maintaining personnel records, ensuring that all employee information is current on all internal systems; and
Support the Facilities Manager with administrative tasks as required.
Corporate Reception duties include, but are not limited to:
Providing concierge style client service and switchboard responsibilities, including professional and courteous customer service to both internal and external clients;
Proactively communicating and directing staff to their allocated meeting room;
Answering internal and external queries, directing them to the relevant person;
Diary and meeting room management, ensuring meeting rooms are presentable;
Manage the firm's car parking facilities for clients and staff including booking car spaces and reconciling monthly invoices;
Coordination and liaison with Office Services and IT departments regarding meeting room requirements; and
Ensuring Covid-19 safe practices are followed at all times.
Hours of work may vary at times given reception is manned from 8am-5.30pm daily.
Experience
The successful candidate will have worked in a Human Resources Administration role previously within a professional corporate environment for ideally a minimum of 18 months:
A bright, proactive, outgoing, and positive approach with a 'can do' attitude – we are a team who enjoy supporting each other to get the job done;
Multi-tasking and time-management which is second to none – this is a busy role where you will be required to balance competing deadlines from various internal stakeholders;
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop professional relationships across all aspects of the business;
A quick learner who is capable of picking up new processes and systems thoroughly and accurately;
Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of the role;
Collaborative, enthusiastic and keen to offer new ideas, suggestions, and improvements;
Excellent phone manner, customer service and communication skills; and
High-level written and verbal communication is an important aspect of the role.
