Location: Parramatta / WFH
Primary purpose of the role:
Responsible for the completion of assigned job evaluations including communication, documentation, reporting and review processes.
Provides support in meeting the objectives and deliverables of projects, including but not limited to assistance in facilitation of learning workshops and discussions on job evaluation methodology, data checking, peer review, role benchmarking, research, and other project activities.
Key responsibilities:
Evaluate assigned job descriptions using Mercer International Position Evaluation (IPE) methodology to ensure an equitable and consistent evaluation process within agreed service timeframes.
Conduct an initial review of the job description and accompanying documentation to ensure comprehensive information is available prior to evaluation.
Provide detailed and comprehensive feedback and explanation where the outcome is different to that which was anticipated.
Key challenges:
Working collaboratively and gaining confidence of stakeholders as a job evaluation SME will contribute to the success of the role.
Requires high expertise in understanding role dimensions and requirements to be able to complete a significant number of evaluations in a short timeframe.
Experience:
Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience of Mercer IPE job evaluation methodology
Strong analytical and reasoning skills to assess job descriptions and information from stakeholders
Strong commitment to maintaining discretion and confidentiality
