Position Overview
We are currently seeking experienced MR (Medium Rigid) and HR (Heavy Rigid) Organics Waste Truck Drivers. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and transportation of Organic Waste materials from supermarkets all over regional NSW. This role requires adherence to all safety and environmental regulations, as well as a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate MR or HR Waste Trucks for the collection of Organic Waste.
- Perform daily pre starts and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of waste materials.
- Maintain accurate records of waste collection activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
- Assist in routine vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid MR or HR driver's license
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental standards.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical capability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and manoeuvring heavy loads.
