Job Description
The Role
The HR Business Partner will be working closely with Capital Project organization to advise, support and coach the management team in the areas of human resources and industrial relations.
This role is based in Perth and directly reports to the Human Resources Manager in Australia and dot line to Sr. HRD for Capital Project Organization in Corporate.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Capital Projects organization
Support line managers to drive a culture of continuous improvement, capability, building employee engagement
Contributing to the design, development and execution of HR strategies, initiatives, reports, projects and procedures to implement at a local level
Driving and implementing best practice HR processes and programs, with a strong focus on client engagement and effective change management
Provide consulting advice on, on a broad range of industrial relations, employment and human resources related issues, including but not limited to performance management, recruitment, termination of employment, anti-discrimination, privacy, and workplace reform
Assist in the recruitment and selections process, including arranging interviews, reference checking, immigration checks and maintenance of employee documentation
Interpreting, negotiating and drafting enterprise agreements, contracts of employment, employment related policies and legislation
Work Experience Requirements
Strong business partnering experience, supporting capital projects would be an advantage
Ability to work autonomously, multitask and use initiative
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Understanding and experience in applying contemporary HR practises employee engagement, capability building, change management and industrial relations
The capacity to manage multiple and competing demands, plus preparedness to work at both strategic and operational levels
Strong computer skills
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Education / Qualification Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources are preferred
