We now have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join the HR team at our Head Office in Spotswood.
The Role
As the HR Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:
Development and delivery of project HR services that align with business needs
Support the development of HR strategies, focusing on continuous improvement in line with the company's retention and development plans
Plan and lead key processes with the business that form part of the HR lifecycle such as employee onboarding and off boarding, remuneration and benefits reviews, performance management reviews, and talent management
Provide high level advice, coaching and support on a broad range of complex ER/IR issues and practices, offering solutions in line with the business’s priorities and in accordance with relevant government policy, legislation and industrial award
Act as a point of escalation and resolution for HR related queries, issues and requests from both internal and external stakeholders
About you
To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:
Relevant HR tertiary qualification or significant experience in a HR Business Partner role
Understanding of Australian legislative framework, NES, Modern Awards and EBAs
Demonstrated success in delivering generalist HR support and advice at a senior level
Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Experience working within the construction or infrastructure industries would be highly regarded
