The Role: The HR Coordinator will support a broad spectrum of HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to compliance and employee engagement. This role requires an adaptable individual who can effectively manage both routine tasks and complex projects under the direction of the Principal, providing support across our internal group and to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Coordination: Manage all aspects of recruitment and apprenticeships, including advertising roles, onboarding new hires, interview coordination, and candidate screening.
- Apprenticeship Program Management: Direct and enhance the apprenticeship program, engaging with community groups and schools to foster relationships and promote opportunities.
- New Arrivals Initiative: Oversee the integration and support for new arrivals, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles
- Clearances and Training Organisation: Organise and manage necessary clearances and coordinate training sessions for staff to ensure compliance and readiness for their roles.
- Administration: Provide comprehensive administrative support, including document and contract preparation.
- Onboarding, Offboarding and Induction: Manage the processes for welcoming new employees and transitioning departing staff.
- Communications: Create and distribute internal and client newsletters and manage the employee portal with HR modules to strengthen internal communications.
- Event Organisation: Assist in organising social and corporate events.
- Support: Handle internal and external HR enquiries and escalate issues as needed.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate HR records and databases.
- Staff Engagement: Conduct employee engagement surveys
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Project Management: Contribute to the delivery of strategic HR projects and programs.
- Employee Value Proposition: Promote and enhance understanding of the business's EVP and staff benefits.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyse HR metrics for insightful reporting.
- Social Media Presence: Develop and maintain a strong social media presence to promote company culture and recruitment efforts.
Requirements:
- For the traineeship route: Demonstrable enthusiasm for HR with a commitment to learning and growing within the role.
- For non-traineeship applicants: Proven HR experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably with a diverse clientele, supported by university qualifications in Human Resources, Human Factors, or similar
- Knowledge of skill migration would be highly regarded.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
- Proficiency in HR systems and a good understanding of employment legislation.
