Decmil is hiring one of the very first HR Coordinators to come on board to support the HR activities supporting the growth and development of Decmil’s teams. Kristy our HR Manager – WA, is looking to scale her HR team, with this role being a critical hire for the HR team.

What's the role?
Based at the Osborne Park HQ, this is an opportunity to come onboard and help the HR Manager – WA on all thing’s HR. You'll be the first point of call for all people related operational processes, and in the immediate 6+ months you’ll work on redeployment and onboarding procedures and processes from an administrative perspective, and from there we might see you growing and taking more of a generalist / advisor role to support the HR team across our WA projects.

Who & what are we looking for?

  • Graduated or currently undertaking your final year of study in the field of Human Resources, Business, Psychology or Law or similar field with the eagerness to build a career in Human Resources
  • High attention to detail along with data integrity - you'll be required to managing information in a professional, discreet and confidential manner
  • A great problem solver with the ability to look at the bigger picture
  • A natural people person, with the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders by asking questions to clarify assigned tasks
  • Strong organisational & time management skills - we're a fast paced organisation
  • Tech savvy across MS office, reporting, building presentations that essentially tell a story
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • An empathetic, positive and warm approach
  • A team spirit with an appreciation of diversity, integrity, supportiveness whilst working effectively together to enable employee and departmental success!
