HR Services Officers opportunities
- $45-$55 per hour plus Super dependent on experience
- Full-time, 3 months contract. Immediate start
- Melbourne CBD/Working From Arrangement
As the HR Services Officer, you will provide high quality, customer-centric HR operational services to support the successful delivery of government and community priorities. Working with a range of partners you will support the integration and seamless delivery of HR operational services to the department.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering high quality, customer-centric HR services for all staff as directed.
- Actively participate in the review, continuous improvement and development of HR-related policies and procedures to support effective operational implementation.
- Maintain and update processes, data, information and systems to support delivery HR services in line with all audit, data integrity and privacy requirements.
- Provide responsive advice to staff on a range of HR-related issues in line with policy and procedural requirements.
- Support and contribute to the implementation of HR-related operational services and projects within the Corporate Services Group and across the department to ensure a seamless, customer-centric HR service is provided.
- Identify emerging complex or highly sensitive issues, risks and trends impacting on the successful achievement of objectives and priorities and develop innovative, customer-centric solutions and options
The experience and skills you will need to demonstrate include:
- Demonstrable experience in delivering service excellence within a customer-centric HR services.
- Communications: clearly and confidently communicates with people at all levels of the organisation, understanding and meeting the needs of target audience.
- Stakeholder Management: experience in identifying and managing a range of complex and often competing needs. Continually liaising with key stakeholders to ensure full understanding of the issues, anticipating potential problems and pre-empts required actions.
- Written and Verbal Communication: Strong inter-personal skills and proven ability to write and verbally present on specialist concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
- Good working knowledge of VPS Human Resource policy frameworks and relevant EBAs.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding in supporting the delivery of high quality, customer-centric HR services in complex and/or changing business environments.
- Previous experience working in the government sector will be highly regarded
