HR and Labourers
THE CLIENT
Our client is an industry leader in the development and implementation of road line marking and safety solutions.
They are based in Ormeau, Gold Coast.
They specialise in the application of Waterborne Paint, Preform Thermoplastic, Audio Tactile Line Marking (ATLM), Raised Pavement Markers (RPM's) and Paint Removal.
They have a large scope of work across the country, hence their requirements for extra HR drivers and labourers
THE ROLES
The shifts are mainly day shifts, doing 10-12 hours per day, Monday through Friday. The usual penalty and shift rates apply.
There are afternoon/night shift positions available for general labourers, starting at 5pm.
The difference to these roles is that there is minimal driving. There is a large physical side to these roles. Drivers need to be physically fit as they'll need to be able to lift 20kg bags repetitively.
The roles involve working away from Brisbane occasionally.
Most of the shift is loading bags into the hoppers and monitoring heat levels.
These roles are Temp to Perm after 3 months for the right drivers.
THE REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for these roles are:
- HR drivers licence AT LEAST
- White/Blue Construction Card
- Good fitness base
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation and standards, Heavy vehicle legislation and permitting standards
- Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
- Ability to work well within a small team environment
- Clean driving history and able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test (DAS)
