We currently have an opening in our Food Service operations. Our drivers are responsible for the safe delivery of Food Products to major fast food retailers throughout Sydney Metro, the ACT, some areas of the Central Coast and the Blue Mountains.
This position would suit physically fit drivers who can handle manual unloading and who would like to stay fit.
- Monday - Friday
- Weekends are Essential & non-negotiable (penalty rates of course apply)
- Day Shift - 5:30am Starts OR
- Night Shift - 17:30pm starts
Tasks involved and skills required:
- Truck Driving Operations
- Experience with refrigerated trucks advantageous, but not essential
- Electric Pallet Jack experience advantageous, but not essential
- Delivering chilled and frozen food to major fast food outlets
- Manual handling involves the following:
- Using tailgate and electric pallet jack to unload pallets with food from the truck onto the ground.
- Manually transferring boxes from the pallets onto the trolley.
- Pushing trolley to the unloading area and manually unload boxes.
- Manually lift boxes that may weigh anywhere between 1 and 18 kg.
- Compliance with legislative requirements, policies and procedures is a must.
Our operation is based at Arndell Park and our fleet is modern and well maintained.
You will be required to provide current driving history to be considered for this job.
