HSE Officer - FIFO

Doolee is a leading civil construction company based in Perth, specializing in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our projects in the North West region.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement and maintain effective health, safety, and environmental management systems.
2. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
3. Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
4. Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and subcontractors.
5. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and provide recommendations for improvement.
6. Monitor and report on HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement.
7. Work closely with project managers to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.
8. Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an HSE Officer in the civil construction industry.
3. Familiarity with relevant Australian safety regulations and standards.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
6. Certification in workplace health and safety (e.g., Cert IV WHS) is highly desirable.
7. Current Police Clearance  
8. White Card
