CMBM Facility Services (Clean, Maintain, Build, Manage) is a well-established Queensland owned and operated facility services and cleaning company, enjoying continued growth throughout the state.
To support our continuing expansion, we have introduced a new, position of Internal Recruiter / Human Resource Assistant to coordinate our recruitment programs into the future and support the busy HR Manager.
With a workforce of 330+ and continuing growth, you will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same and you’ll be exposed to many opportunities for ongoing personal and professional development.
Based in modern office accommodation at our Eight Mile Plains HQ, you will make this job your own and quickly demonstrate your ‘value add’ in the HR and recruitment space. Initially part time, 15 hours per week (with potential to increase), times and days are open to negotiation, will be required to help with reception until office is reshuffled.
The successful applicant will:
- Assist with the ongoing review and development of Position Descriptions
- Draft and post job advertisements across relevant platforms
- Liaise with Job Support providers and other Agencies as appropriate
- Undertake initial screening, telephone screening and shortlisting of candidates
- Provide support to recruiters to prepare for and undertake interviews / applicant assessment
- Undertake reference checks / VEVO checks etc.
- Review and continuously improve applicant correspondence, information packs, CMBM New Starter Pack content etc.
- Produce offer letters, employment agreements and new starter notifications
- Undertake HR assignments / projects as required
- Provide general HR support and assistance to the HR Manager, across the gamut of HR focus areas

We are seeking applications from people with:
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating end-to end recruitment
- Demonstrable working knowledge of employment legislation framework / Awards etc.
- Commitment to and working knowledge of equal opportunities / diversity and inclusion
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience gained in a busy HR setting
- Highly developed and effective and communication skills (above average), in writing, face to face and over the phone.
- Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously to agreed plans
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others
- Natural flair for attending to detail
- Effective organisation and workload management skills, able to consistently achieve high quality outcomes under pressure of tight deadlines and fluctuating workload
- Track record of success in a similarly demanding internal recruitment role
- IT literate -advanced level MS Office suite.
- Demonstrable ability to consistently meet deadlines and achieve high quality outcomes under pressure of tight timeframes and fluctuating workload
- Proven ability to maintain progress, across several projects, concurrently
- Ability to quickly assimilate new information and apply it, to achieve practical outcomes
