The Role:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role is a great opportunity for those currently studying.
You will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day administrative support of the human resources function, while being developed and trained in the full range of human resources management and recruitment.
A major focus of this role will be the ownership of our new FlareHR platform as we move to become a paperless department.
We are able to offer this role as permanent part-time, 15 hours per week, and are flexible on the days to suit the successful candidates availability. The role will be based at our offices within Pro Health Care Midwest.
Key Duties include:
- Assist with and drive our paperless transformation via FlareHR;
- Create, review and administer compliant employment contracts;
- Create, review and administer human resources policies and procedures;
- Create, monitor, deliver and report on cultural engagement, new employee and exiting employee surveys;
- Create, review and implement effective on-boarding and induction processes;
- Ensure the finance department are provided timely and accurate employee information throughout the employment life-cycle;
- Assist with the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain the best possible talent;
- Provide timely, accurate and easy-to-understand industrial relations interpretation and advice.
About You:
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
- COVID-19 vaccination (essential - healthcare setting worker);
- Working towards or already attained tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology or similar;
- An understanding of core HR functions;
- Intermediate level of skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and email) and proficient with computers and software;
- Excellent communication skills;
- High attention to detail;
- Able to quickly develop relationships;
- Ability to work productively both autonomously and within a team environment.
