The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, this Perth-based part-time position (4 days/week) requires a strong HR generalist focus.
Some key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the HR Manager and leaders in workforce planning, providing effective people solutions to workforce demands.
- Support the recruitment process from end-to-end including drafting adverts, talent pooling, phone screening, shortlisting, organising interviews and pre-employment assessments and checks.
- Action business-approved changes to employee’s employment conditions.
- Provide guidance to leaders on policy and procedures, employee relations and performance management matters.
- Work with the HR Manager and stakeholders in complex and sensitive people management issues, developing solutions that maintains culture, limits risk, and ultimately aims to improve leadership skills in the business.
- Support the business in the interpretation and application of employment legislation, Fair Work Act, industry and policy conditions.
- Assist in the management of grievance and dispute resolution.
- Assist with Injury and Illness matters, including drafting of medical management plans/suitable duties plans, and workers compensation claims where required.
- Contribute to the execution of group HR initiatives and projects.

Part-time hours: 32 per week
Salary: $68,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year

Experience:
