The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, proactive and outcome focused HR generalist to join the Human Resources Team here at PACCAR Australia. This 12-month contract role will see you providing operational HR and people management support to line managers in key support functions across the business, including Engineering and Sales & Marketing teams.
Your Key Responsibilities
Coaching and guiding managers to improve business performance through effective performance management, Employee Relations, Conflict Resolution and Grievance processes
Provides guidance to line managers in relation to the interpretation and application of HR Policies and Procedures
Discusses, and if necessary, challenges ideas to ensure line managers are acting with the best interests of the wider business
Provides guidance on Workforce planning and Succession Planning, supporting the annual Talent Management & Succession Planning process with line managers
Supports Divisional Recruitment activity in conjunction with the recruitment team
Administration duties including employee movement paperwork, offer letters, etc
What We Like About You

Strong business acumen and the ability to influence decisions outcomes
Problem solving ability and sound decision making skills
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
Strong computer literacy and advanced knowledge using Microsoft Office
Experience in manufacturing and/or blue collar industry would be beneficial
