Active is looking to appoint an accomplished HRBP to be based in our Edwardstown Office to support our team working throughout SA, TAS and NT.
The role
Reporting to the Group People Officer the HRBP is responsible for delivering a high level of advice and support covering the total employee experience from on-boarding and including deployment, training, performance improvement plans, employee engagement, people planning and talent management.
The people you will support in this role includes Business Leaders, Business Unit Managers, Supervisors and as importantly our Team members working in the field and the support office. The HRBP will provide expert advice on the administration of relevant Awards, Enterprise Agreement, employment contracts and employment related policies and procedures.
Importantly the HRBP is a member of a larger team consisting of experienced and capable professionals committed to ensuring Active Tree Services continues to be a great place to work.
What we are looking for
- The demonstrated capability to provide excellent support and advice to our business leaders, managers and supervisors.
- An in-depth knowledge and experience in all aspects of the employee experience from recruitment to separation.
- Solid Industrial Relations experience including negotiating enterprise agreements and working with business and unions
- Approachable personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Great communication skills with an ability to explain complex matters in a clear and concise manner.
- A keen interest to understand the key drivers of the business and the industry.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience working in ‘blue collar’ environment.
- Excellent at delivering project initiatives and identifying opportunities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, organisational planning, organisation development, training and development and industrial relations.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organisational Development or similar is preferred but not essential.
